Background

Mr Ibrahim obtained medical degree from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London hospitals and went to train in neurosurgery in London. Upon completion of training, Mr Ibrahim obtained a dual neurosurgery/orthopaedics spinal fellowship training at the prestigious Toronto Western Hospital under world-renowned Professor Fehlings.

Mr Ibrahim runs an active research programme in finding a cure for spinal cord injuries and is an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London and University College London. In recognition of his experience and research Mr Ibrahim has been elected to the executive board of Cervical Spine Research Society-Europe. Mr Ibrahim serves as current chair of the programme committee.

Mr Ibrahim has an established advanced minimally invasive complex surgery practice and undertakes endoscopic spinal surgery commonly known as keyhole surgery. Mr Ibrahim has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes including from the Congress of neurological surgeons/American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Cervical Spine Research Society. Mr Ibrahim won scholarships from Royal College of England and HCA and in recognition of his achievements.

Mr Ibrahim is also a member of the British Spine Surgeons Association, Society of British Neurological Surgeons and North American Association of Spine Surgeons.
